Andrea Searby serves as the senior paralegal to Marjorie Heinrich and Ethan Wimert at Heinrich Law. For more than a decade, she has cultivated extensive legal support skills and experience in all areas of civil litigation.
Beginning as a law firm intern after winning a high school state championship in mock trial, Ms. Searby then worked as a file clerk while in college, which evolved into more substantive litigation support work.
Andrea graduated from U.C. Berkeley in 2007 with a degree in Rhetoric. Having worked almost exclusively at personal injury law firms, Andrea has always felt most at home supporting attorneys who represent people who have been injured, often severely, because of the fault of others. Prior to Heinrich Law, she worked as senior paralegal at a large Bay Area plaintiffs’ personal injury law firm from 2009 to 2015. During that time, she provided sole paralegal and administrative support to a core team of attorneys, led by Ms. Heinrich, throughout all phases of the litigation process.
Andrea has also served as the moderator and chief speaker for the paralegal panel at an annual convention held by the Consumer Attorneys of California. Her presentation addressed the non- attorney’s role in attorney-client communication.
Andrea continues to find joy in helping bring experienced, personalized representation to people who’ve been seriously injured because someone broke the rules. She deeply values Heinrich Law’s case-by-case approach to maximizing a client’s recovery, in which there is no substitute for experience.
Outside of the office, Andrea is a lifelong athlete and fitness enthusiast. Also an avid commuter cyclist, she is passionate about issues concerning roadway safety and awareness.
